India’s leading technology solutions company, Sonata Software Limited, has launched its operations in Qatar as Sonata Software (Qatar) WLL – a joint venture (JV) with Mohammad Nasser Abdullah Al MISNAD.These will involve upgrade and support initiatives on Microsoft DynamicsAX, Oracle eBusiness Suite and SAP, the statement added.
The newly-formed JV will operate from Doha, Qatar, and will focus on delivering services around ERP implementation and support, e-commerce, collaboration solutions, BI, mobility and cloud solutions to enterprises in the region.
Sonata is making strategic investments in building expertise and forging partnerships in cloud-related technologies and mobility. Along with its product engineering and multi-mobile platform expertise, Sonata plans to offer these high-end services to companies in Qatar in order to support their critical business functions, it said in its statement this week.
CEO and managing director Sanjay Viswanathan added: “Sonata Software has a strong focus on Qatar where it will create on-shore and near-shore capabilities and will provide opportunities for local expertise to work on key technology projects.
“Qatar is a strategic market for our growth. The JV will enable Qatar to become a country of technological excellence by leveraging Sonata’s world class practices, processes, frameworks, tools and people.”
